Teddy's Studio Newborn Session • Newborn Photography Calgary

Newborn Sessions are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get when it comes to babies. Some sleep soundly through the entire session, others love to keep those little peepers open for the entire duration of the day. I guess there are just so many things to see that this curious little eyes just insist on soaking in every single little detail. 

Little Teddy had beautiful, super blonde lashes and hair. He was the sweetest, most content little guy. And I saw his little eyes looking around for the majority of the session. He wasn't upset, he wasn't uncomfortable. He was just fully enthralled with all the new things around him and wanted to smile and stare at me with his gorgeous, googly eyes. Every time I looked down at him, I saw him looking back. And it just made me laugh every time. 

I have worked with hundreds of babies. They are all each so different in their personalities. I have never had a baby I couldn't get to sleep for some portion of a session. But for the ones who insist on being awake and fully present in mind and body for the session, I find that their galleries are often full of the most adorable little expressions. I love babies... what a great way to start people. 

Mom & Dad trusted me with their baby boy and were so much fun to chat with throughout the session. Sometimes you connect with people and it feels like you've known them for a bit. I loved sharing stories and having a good laugh as we told jokes and shared memories. A family member from back home in the UK had found me on Google and gifted a gift certificate to Mom & Dad so that they could enjoy having beautiful photos of their baby boy to share back home with family, and to enjoy for years to come.

I am honoured to have had the privilege of working with this wonderful couple and their new son. The reactions and giggles when they saw their images for the first time brought butterflies to my stomach and a huge smile to my face. I loved watching their eyes light up as they saw each image for the first time. I hope you enjoy their gallery as much as I do!
