There are some families that I just know are going to bring all the love, laughter, and a little bit of extra fun into the studio—and this family is one of them! I'm so excited to share this maternity session ith you because it was full of sweet, heartwarming moments and the most beautiful portraits.
When the whole family joins in (especially with a couple of toddlers in the mix), you never quite know what's going to happen—it's kind of like a box of chocolate (thank you, Forrest Gump). But that's the magic of it! Those spontaneous giggles, the unexpected hugs, and even the little wobbly toddler adventures always end up being the moments that steal the show. Time and again, those candid, real-life moments become the absolute favourites in a gallery—and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way!
Baby boy number three was on the way, and you could feel the excitement! This sweet family of four was getting ready to become a party of five, and every moment of their session was filled with love, anticipation, and all the joy that comes with welcoming a new little one. Mom was absolutely glowing in her maternity outfits, looking effortlessly beautiful. We did a mix of studio portraits and fresh outdoor shots on a perfect spring day—such a fitting way to celebrate new life.
I've been lucky enough to document this family's journey since they were expecting their first son, and now, here we are, celebrating baby number three together. It's such an honour to capture these milestones and watch their family grow. And, from the bottom of my heart, there is no greater compliment than when clients keep coming back (a noticeable trend in my blogs as you make your way through them!) This is one of those families that I always look forward to seeing walk through my studio doors, arms full of Happy Meals and followed by the sound of excited, giggling boys. It's the kind of session that makes my heart so full!
