Professional Newborn Photography Studio in NW Calgary

As a mom to three little girls myself, having this group of wonderful ladies in my studio was a treat. I loved working with them. They all cooperated so well and their gallery turned out so beautiful! 

I loved listening to Ayla's older sisters play in the playroom. They play with the toys and I am so often amused to listen to the little soap operas they come up with while roleplaying with the different figurines and toys they have to play with in there. I'm often so invested in the story, listening in while I work with their little siblings, that I almost don't want to interrupt them when it comes time to shoot their sibling photos. 

Working with little Ayla was so much fun! She gave me so many beautiful smiles, and her Mom absolutely loved her gallery. It always makes me so happy to hear adoring coos and swoons over a gallery. "It's so hard to pick, I want them all..." is a common phrase I hear, and lets me know that it's a job well done. Guiding parents through their galleries and helping them pick out their favourites for the walls is always one of the highlights of the entire experience. Making sure that everything is done perfectly is my top priority, and making sure that my clients are confident and excited about their choices! 

I wish I had made the choice to have done something like this with my own children. One of my biggest regrets is not investing in newborn photos done of them. I wish I could remember their tiny newborn details and have artistic newborn portraits of them in my home. Perhaps that is one of the main reasons why I do what I do, haha! Whilst I don't have their newborn portraits on the wall, I do have several other portraits of them throughout my home (which clients often awe over as we make our way to the studio) and it truly makes our house a home. They are the last things to come down off the walls and the first things to go up during a move. They make our space a warm and welcoming place. I'd be lying, though, if I said I didn't feel a pang of guilt not having those precious, early moments of their first few days of life. *sigh*

I enjoyed every single moment of it and wish this beautiful family all of the love, safety and health as they form new memories and have many adventures together.
