Beautiful Baby Girl "C" • Family & Newborn Photography Session
Family & Newborn Photographer Serving Airdrie, Calgary and Surrounding Areas
Hey there, friends! I must admit, I've been playing catch-up with my blogging game, but guess what? The moment has arrived! Amidst the whirlwind of summer & fall sessions, editing marathons, and delivering precious artwork, I've been bursting with excitement to share these moments with you all. Now that my kiddos have settled into a routine post-summer escapade, I can finally spill the beans on the incredible families I've had the joy of photographing this year. Buckle up, it's time for a cozy chat about these heartwarming sessions—I'm ready to embark on this blogging adventure, and I'm so thrilled to have you along for the ride!
I have been chomping at the bit to blog about this session. I worked with this family quite a few years back with their firstborn son and had the honour of capturing his newborn photos. It was a beautiful session, and I know that the photos are still enjoyed and cherished to this very day!
When I recognized Mom's familiar name popping up in my inbox, I immediately got so excited! She shared with me how long they had tried and hoped for their second baby and that finally, through IVF, they were expecting a new little one. One of the biggest compliments ever for me is returning clients, and I was so honoured and excited to have the opportunity to work with this family again and capture not only these beautiful memories that they'll treasure for a lifetime but to also meet their newest addition to the family!
Mom had booked her session early on, so it felt like forever for this sweet baby girl to arrive. But I think we can all agree she was well worth the wait!
She had the most beautiful headful of hair and the sweetest, daintiest little features. Such a gorgeous little newborn! And her big brother, who I was so happy to see again as well, was such a great sport through the entire session and he did a wonderful job smiling and sitting with his sister for the newborn session.
I certainly can't forget to mention Scout, our furry little friend, who is hands down the best-behaved dog I have ever had in my studio. She is fantastic (and ridiculously adorable!) We were even able to replicate some poses we had done with Big Brother once-upon-a-time to tie the two galleries together. My heart nearly burst, it was the cutest sight to see! Good job, Scout!
This newborn gallery was full of precious moments, adorable setups and priceless expressions! I found myself getting a little emotional as I went through this gallery for the first time. I knew that these images were not just photographs for this family, but a proud representation of their journey to get here and to finally have their beautiful baby girl in their arms!
With this idea etched into my heart, I wanted to make sure that their photos were perfect. I approach all of my sessions this way, of course, but I could sense how much this session and these photos meant to the parents of these two beautiful little ones!
While Mom got her hair and makeup done in my studio, I worked with baby to capture her solo photos. Grandma, who tagged along to the newborn session, beamed with so much pride that my heart melted and I could feel my cheeks start to hurt from smiling - it was the cutest!
The family photos in the gallery are the main reasons I found myself choking up and my computer screen started to wiggle and wave as happy tears filled my eyes. Call me a sap, but seeing those beautiful and proud smiles just hit me right in the heart! They are absolutely beautiful! Those are the types of smiles that are genuine and can't be forced. There is true emotion behind those smiles and I LIVE for capturing them!
Newborn Sessions are quite an emotional experience, and I get to witness and be a part of some really beautiful moments. I never forget them and I consider myself to be an extremely blessed person to be able to both capture and experience these emotions alongside my clients while they are in my studio and when they see their photos for the first time.
I am so thankful and blessed to have had the amazing honour of photographing this beautiful newborn session! I love working with this family and I sincerely hope and look forward to having them all in my studio again one day!
When Should You Book Your Newborn Session?
Ideally, before your little one arrives. Your due date holds your spot tentatively. Once your baby arrives, your session will be scheduled for when your baby is between 10 to 21 days old.
2024 due dates are rapidly filling my calendar. I typically fully book 2 months in advance. Due to high demand, I rarely have last-minute spots open!
To get started, all you have to do is contact the studio and I will personally respond to you and take it from there! I'll ask you a few questions and give you all the details you need to know before booking. If I am available, you can book your spot and we can start planning your session!
I am happy to answer any and all of your questions and guide you step-by-step through this exciting and beautiful experience. I look forward to hearing from you!
