I genuinely love shooting every single session that I am so very flattered to capture for beautiful families in and around the city of Calgary. It signifies a huge amount of trust; that my clients believe that I am able to give them memories that they will cherish for the rest of their lives. And I approach each session with the same attitude. I genuinely, truly do. But some stories, like this one, just make me feel a little extra fuzzy and warm on the inside. 

Danielle and Arvin are expecting their first baby, and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little miracle. While I do not know all the details, of course, I do know that it was a long and difficult road to achieve this pregnancy. The love and excitement in Danielle's eyes as she carries her baby and prepares for his / her arrival brings tears to my eyes and a warmness to my heart. On top of that, hearing Arvin whispering to himself about how stunning Danielle looked as she posed for her photos brought a smile to my face, and as I worked on this beautiful gallery, I kept hearing those words in my ear. "Look at how beautiful she is, she is so stunning." 

There was certainly a bite in the wind that day, out in Kananaskis Country amidst the mountains and the pines. The kind that felt like needles in your skin and tingles in your fingers as the feeling slowly slipped away. And yet, here was Danielle, conquering the icy nip in the air and pushing through to put together a stunning gallery to treasure this miraculous and amazing time in their lives, and it is with great pleasure that I will get to meet their little one, and see him / her several times throughout the year, as we celebrate and enjoy this little bundle of true joy! 

As Danielle's due date draws closer, my excitement grows in meeting this precious miracle. Even more so, I can't wait to see the beaming smiles on Danielle and Arvin's faces -  I look forward to seeing their giant smiles as they finally introduce me to their baby, and I can't wait to watch their little one grow and to capture the amazing milestones to come.
