To be trusted by and booked another photographer is a HUGE deal. So when the ever-so-lovely and amazingly talented Kaila from Full Circle Photography booked me for her maternity session, I was over-the-moon!

The first time I ever photographed Kaila was a little less than a year ago, during my Mommy & Me sessions (which will be coming soon, again, by the way!) and I, at the time, did not know she was a photographer. When it dawned on me that Kaila was also a fellow-momtog, I felt a little self-concious suddenly and hoped that I had fulfilled her expectations from photographer to photographer.

Well, she came back to me with this wonderful privilege and I was so excited to let me creativity let loose! She was willing to try out a new location I'd always wanted to try, and she put on that oh-so-lovely red gown that has quickly become a staple item in almost all of my maternity session (I will be hunting for some new gowns soon, but this red one is just ssscrumptious!)

Thank you, Kaila, for the fun afternoon as we stomped about in the snow and coaxed some smiles out of your little guy (apparently Daddy having "smelly feet" is something definitely worth giggling about!) I hope your baby girl arrives safely! I had SO much fun shooting and editing your maternity session; you are absolutely stunning, Mama!
