I had the honour of welcoming another sweet and beautiful baby boy into the studio for his newborn session, and I enjoyed every single minute of it! After working with his parents for their maternity session, I couldn't wait to meet their newest little family member. 

I was expecting little Gavin to be a bit of a challenge, given that during the maternity session his poor mother kept having to get up and stretch. He kept moving around and kicking her inside of that perfectly round bump of hers. 

Gavin ended up being a joy to work with; despite tossing me a couple of side-eyed looks and being awake for a little bit of the session, he was easy to pose and let me work with him as long as he was warm and comfortable. 

When his parents saw his gallery for the first time, Mom couldn't help but cry. Seeing those emotions come out is so humbling. Knowing that my clients are moved emotionally by their portraits and are ecstatic over their gallery gives me confidence. On top of that, I love making people happy. So, when my clients are happy, I am happy!

I loved working with this couple and am honoured to have met their baby boy. I hope to see them again soon, as I enjoyed the jokes we would throw around while in the studio (we have a similar sense of humour and I LOVED that!) and I would love to laugh and joke with them again.
