This Newborn Session was one that I thoroughly enjoyed shooting and editing for this new family of four. The simple setups and neutral colours pulled together a calm and timeless gallery for this family to preserve and cherish these memories that will forever remain "in style" and beautiful. 

I am smitten by this sweet baby boy. He has such handsome baby boy features and I absolutely loved his perfectly chubby cheeks and dimpled chin. His big sister has beautiful, dark brown hair and the most captivating blue eyes. I wonder if he will have the same features as her; so striking and beautiful. As a newborn photographer, I am blessed to see babies of all ethnicities and backgrounds, each with their own unique features and personalities. 

I used to work a corporate office job, and for me, the repetition of the days brought me down. I needed variety and a change of scenery in my life. Prior to becoming a photographer, I would do this by creating my own unique artwork pieces with digital art. Knowing that I loved creating captivating pieces that would form the word "wow" in peoples' mouths was something that I wanted so badly to be able to do with my life and not just sit at a desk, typing mindlessly away in a haze of monotony, working with the same people, same colour schemes and same workplace every day. 

I've been a newborn photographer for nearly 7 years now (my, how time flies!), and I am constantly inspired and driven to create beautiful and better work with each session. Meeting each of these new families with their unique lives, unique selves and unique children brings about the variety and spice of life that I crave. I am forever so thankful and passionate about what I do and while I worked on this gallery I found myself continually speaking out to the universe about how thankful and grateful I was for my clients, my business, and my gift for photography. 

Looking forward to the years ahead, I am excited and feverishly eager to continue to provide families and parents with these precious memories of their children and to make the experience as simple and easy as possible. That way can focus on spending time with their children and in their busy lives while I pull together the most beautiful ways for them to treasure and cherish their precious moments that have passed.
