Alayna's Newborn Session • Baby Photography Studio Calgary

The fact that I got to shoot this newborn session means the absolute world to me. Kay has been coming to me for photos since my very beginning, and I was filled with joy and excitement when I received an inquiry from her in my inbox to book newborn photos!

Kay has been a part of my journey and has watched my business grow and transform into what it is today. I was so excited to provide her with a beautiful experience that she and her new family would never forget. 

"We love simple. We love black," is what she wrote in her Newborn Session Questionnaire. Oh, how I was tickled pink! I absolutely LOVE black for newborn sessions. I hauled out absolutely all of my favourite backdrops, headbands, and outfits for her session. 

This gallery is absolutely breathtaking. I love every single photo, and I am smitten with how beautifully it all fits together. Even though black is (almost) the only colour in this session, there is so much variety. I had a BLAST shooting this session and putting it together. 

Shooting this session meant so much to me. I am not sure if clients really understand the joy that I have when they trust me to capture these lifelong keepsakes and not only create beautiful portraits for them to cherish but turn them into striking, breath-taking artwork for them to hang proudly in their homes and hold longingly in their hands. 

Welcome to the world, Alayna. You are absolutely beautiful, and you have one heck of a Mama to bring you into it. I admire Kay so much. She is a go-getter, she is one of the most confident people I've ever met and her vibe is a rare one. I ALWAYS look forward to working with her. She is a top-notch human being.
