Another set of Hocus Focus Photography babies made my heart twirl and jump! Lyla (big sister) was once a wee baby upon my bean bag, when my "studio" was nothing more than a simple newborn set up in my living room (oh, the days!).
When I heard from this family again to book another newborn for their second baby girl, my heart was fill with joy and thankfulness. One of the biggest compliments to me is return clients, and I love being able to deliver an experience and photographs that are even better than the last session as my experience grows along with these families.
Baby Claire was a squish of love and was even generous enough to lend me a couple of smiles as we went about her session, all while Lyla chattered and agreed with me just how cute she is; herself, that is. "Yep, I'm pretty cute," she responded when I told her just how adorable she is. Which, I mean, only makes her even more adorable!
Amidst answering the many "why" questions asked by big sister Lyla as I went about posing and working with Claire, it brought me back to when my own kidlets were about the same size and had me reminiscing over the days when, once upon a time, my babies fit in the crook of my arm and chattered away with their soft baby voices. Not so long ago, but a time that certainly shot by in a blitz and leaves me wondering where the last few years have gone!
Alison and Cam, you have yourselves a pretty special pair of beautiful little girls. I am genuinely so happy for you both! You have a truly beautiful family, and Lyla is so well-mannered and such a devoted big sister already! Thank you so much for returning to Hocus Focus Photography for more keepsakes and memories, it truly means the world to me and I hope to see you again soon! (Maybe a boy for baby #3? ;) )
I now proudly present to you sweet baby Claire, just 11 days fresh and as squishy as can be.
