Gorgeous Newborn Photo Shoot for Baby Boy Max

I was so excited to meet this beautiful baby boy and shoot his newborn session! Ever since the gorgeous Maternity Session and seeing the beautiful pregnancy portraits I had shot for his parents, I anxiously awaited his arrival. One of the most exciting parts about my job is getting those emails and texts that a new baby has entered the world. It never gets old! 

Sweet baby Max was a perfect size and he was so easy to work with. While chatting during the Maternity Session, I had learned that Max's dad loved Sonic the Hedgehog. Right away I could already picture the cutest vision in my head and I got straight to work putting everything together to make that vision come true. I knitted up a custom outfit and bonnet inspired by our little blue friend and had it ready to go for our session. 

It turned out absolutely adorable and exactly the way I wanted it to! Mom & Dad were absolutely thrilled with all of the setups; I love seeing the looks on their faces when they see their photos for the first time. I think a lot of parents look at my portfolio and see all of the nice pictures and think they're lovely, but it's truly not the same until you see pictures of your OWN family and your OWN baby that it truly takes your breath away. I absolutely love it!
