This week I received an email that I have achieved the Top 3 Babies & Family Photographer badge for Calgary, AB. I want to thank everyone for making this a reality for my business! It's such a blessing and honour to be able to work with you all and turn your precious memories into works of art that you all love and will continue loving as the years go by. 

I was so excited to finally meet little Jiya for her "almost-newborn" session. Her mother had booked her session very far in advance to secure her spot and preferred that we would shoot the session when her baby girl was 2 months old. That was fine with me; while we can't always do the classic newborn poses and setups, it usually means lots of smiles and big, bright eyes looking back at me! 

It was important to include Calio, their beautiful Goldendoodle, in the photos. He is just a young pup himself, so it took a bit of patience and a couple of attempts to get a shot but, much to my sheer excitement, I was able to capture a couple of absolutely picture-perfect moments that will be proudly hanging on the walls of this family's home. 

I am excited to see this family again later on this year and for Jiya's first birthday - it's going to be LOTS of fun and I am always grateful for clients who treasure and value their moments and memories. It is always my greatest pleasure!
