I wish I could say that my extreme baby-whispering skills were what got this baby girl to pose into so many adorable poses, but the truth is she just rocked the entire session all on her own! She is perfection.
Beautiful baby Aria was hands down one of the easiest babies I have had this year so far, and I could have photographed her all day, ask to see her again the next day, and just keep going. She is absolutely adorable, and posed so easily with relaxed baby fingers and snoozy little snores that I found myself taking an extra moment just to look at her and oogle in the cuteness between poses and shot. I just can't get enough of her!
The rest of the world just sinks away from me when I am working with these precious little humans. I am so truly in love with my "job", and during these hours where I am working with these little ones, I am simply just so happy. It's absolutely incredible to be able to capture these precious memories for such beautiful families; it's really quite humbling to know that these families trust me with their brand new babies, and every time I glance over my shoulder to make sure Mom and Dad are doing okay, I am almost always met with soft eyes and gentle grins as they beam with pride over their baby, and get teary-eyed over their adorable bum-up poses, or wrapped up "potato" likeness.
You know that feeling you got as a child, on Christmas Day, where excitement and joy bubbled up in your chest with anticipation for the surprises and smiles to come? That's what I feel every single time while I shoot these sessions, and I absolutely love every single moment of it. And if Aria's parents could see me smiling and squealing over their pictures after their session, I'm sure they'd find me to be a bit kooky. But, I just can't help myself. I love what I do. I love all of my little clients. And I just love all of this! I've formed new friendships (Heck, I've hugged people I've never met before but have had enough conversation with them that hugs were totally a must!) and together we've created amazing memories and gorgeous pieces of art that will last for generations. And it just makes my heart so happy!
I never get the case of the "Mondays", because you don't get those when you're IN LOVE with what you do.
Aria, and Aria's Mom & Dad, thank you SO much for being such amazing clients and for trusting me with these memories; I am genuinely thankful that you picked me, out of a sea of photographers, to create and capture these keepsakes for you, and I am so hopeful to seeing you all again soon to create more beautiful portraits together! Congratulations on your BEAUTIFUL baby girl! The pleasure was all mine, truly!
Finally, I present to you little baby Aria!
