I've been so immersed in shooting and editing (on top of being away for a couple of weeks...), blogging has sat on the back-burner a bit. But I fully intend on catching up and showing off the beautiful sessions that I've had yet to share with everyone!
Let's get back on track by starting out with the sweetest little girl who kicked off my girl streak for 2018!
Baby Fiona. Such a perfectly sweet girl who hardly made me a peep and pretty well let me know whatever I wanted with posing. And what a perfectly round, wonderfully squishy baby she was.
Her older brother is, hands down, THE most cooperative, polite and best behaved little guy I have ever worked with. He agreed to everything I asked of him with a soft, "Okay" or "Sure", his little voice just over a whisper as to not awaken his new little sister. And once he was done, he gave me a happy little "Thank You", and I ultimately was just absolutely floored at how polite and wonderful he was, and just how gentle he was with his baby sister. Not to mention how he was able to grasp the concept of posing... I was (and clearly still am) absolutely blown away with just how perfectly well-behaved he was. Good job, Mama. Whatever you're doing, you're doing it right and you're doing amazing! I applaud you.
I am so excited to have been able to use the colour yellow for Fiona's session; it's a colour I've been craving to use for SO long, and I am so thrilled with how beautifully it complimented this sweet baby girl. She just reminds me of wide meadows rolling with wildflowers. Beautiful, calm and serene, but definitely the dash of colour that catches everyone's eye and holds their gaze for a few extra moments.
This session was short and sweet, and I honestly would have loved to snuggle Fiona for a little while longer. But it seems I never get enough of these new little humans, so I always look forward to the next squirmy, squishy body to be carried into the studio. I just love this job so much... but I mean, can you blame me?! Just look at those delicious cheeks and that adorable baby squish. I'm addicted and I just can't get enough!
Welcome, little Fiona. Thanks for being such a little rockstar!
